Privacy Policy
What this website collects, why, and the choices you have. In short: only what you send through the contact form, and no tracking.
This website, manikumarmehra.com, is run by Mani Kumar, an SEO consultant based in New Delhi, India (“I”, “me”). This policy explains how I handle personal data when you visit the site, use the free tools or contact me. It is written to meet India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What I collect
When you use the contact form
Your name, work email, website (optional), the topic you choose and your message (optional), with the date and time you sent it. I use this only to reply to you and to discuss possible work together.
When you visit the site
Like every website, the hosting server records standard technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, to keep the site running and secure. When you send the contact form, your IP address is turned into a one-way code that is used only to limit spam and repeated submissions.
When you use the free tools
The free tools run in your browser. The text, URLs, numbers and images you enter are processed on your device and are not uploaded to or stored on this website. Share links created by a tool keep the details after the # sign in the address, which browsers do not send to the server.
Cookies and similar storage
- No advertising, analytics or tracking cookies are used on this site.
- If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so it is remembered next time.
- A strictly necessary session cookie may be set when you send the contact form, to protect the form from misuse.
Why I use your data
I use your contact details because you chose to send them to me, which is your consent under the Act. You can withdraw that consent at any time, and I will then stop using your details and delete them unless the law requires me to keep them.
Who can see it
I do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. It is handled only by the service providers needed to run this site, such as the web hosting and email provider, and only for that purpose. I may disclose information if the law requires it.
How long I keep it
I keep contact requests only as long as needed to reply and follow up on a possible project, or for as long as we work together and the law then requires. You can ask me to delete them at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or withdraw your consent. You can also raise a complaint, and you may nominate another person to act for you. Send your request through the contact page and I will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with my response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
The site is served only over HTTPS, and contact requests are stored in a password-protected dashboard that only I can access. No method of storage or transfer is completely secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Where data is stored
Your data is stored with my hosting provider and may be kept on servers outside India, with the protections described here.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. Please do not send me personal data about children.
Other websites
Links to other sites, such as LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube, take you to services with their own privacy policies, which I do not control.
Changes to this policy
If I change how I handle personal data, I will update this page and the date at the top.
